Antonin Gilles received his MS in electronics and computer engineering and his PhD in signal and image processing from the National Institute of Applied Sciences, Rennes, France, in 2013 and 2016, respectively. He is now working as a researcher on Computer-Generated Holography at the Institute of Research and Technology b<>com, Rennes, France. His main research interests include realistic full-color hologram synthesis, real-time hologram calculation and holographic data compression. He is involved in the ISO/IEC JTC1/SC29/WG1 (JPEG) standardization committee.
