Khalid Moinuddin is a Professor of Fire Safety Engineering and Fire Modelling at Institute of Sustainable Industries and Liveable Cities (ISILC) of Victoria University. He is an experimentalist as well as computational researcher. His research interest spans over various areas of science and engineering: turbulent fluid motion through forest canopies and over complex bodies, pyrolysis of fuels, flame growth and propagation, concrete and steel structures in fire and fire risk analysis.
