Andrés Aguilar, known professionally as "ICHI", is an award-winning Ecuadorian director and partner at MATTE CG, an animation studio based in Ecuador and Mexico. With over 18 years in animation, he's integrated cutting-edge technologies, including AR/VR and Unreal Engine. Notably, his film "AFTERWORK" (2017) has been showcased at 120+ festivals, winning 19 awards including Siggraph Asia and Annecy. Alongside Joseph Game "Chogrin", he co-directed "Lucky's Brave Sunshine", with production by acclaimed Jorge R. Gutiérrez. Currently, Andrés is developing "El extraño Caso del Hombre Bala" and leads post-production for "Dalia y el libro rojo", releasing in 2024 via Start+.
