Jin Ryong Kim is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at The University of Texas at Dallas. He obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and M.S. in Computer Science, both from Purdue University. His research interests include haptics, VR, and Human-Computer Interaction, emphasizing interactive technologies utilizing human sensory capabilities. He’s currently an associate editor of Frontiers in Virtual Reality and has been a program committee member of the IEEE Haptics Symposium/World Haptics Conference since 2022. He's been an associate editor of IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters (2018-2022). He received an IEEE RA-L Outstanding Associate Editor Award in 2022.
