Graduated from the piano department of the elementary and junior high school attached to Kunitachi College of Music. He graduated from the Music High School attached to Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, and from the Japanese Music Department of the same university, majoring in koto music, Ikuta school. Currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Media Design at Keio University. He conducts research from a variety of perspectives, drawing on his background as a performer.
