Lingchen Yang is a doctoral student at the Computer Graphics Lab (CGL), ETH Zurich. His current research focuses on data- and physics-driven facial animation at a level that is indistinguishable from reality and widely applicable. To this end, he develops key technology that combines fundamental computer graphics, differentiable physics, and machine learning. His recent work got an honorable mention award at SIGGRAPH 2022. He received his master's degree from the Zhejiang University for his work on orthodontics treatment prediction and dynamic hair modeling.
