Oleg Yakovchuk received an M.Sc. degree in Computer Science and now he is a Ph.D. student at NTUU “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, Institute for Applied System Analysis. Oleg earned the Best Idea Award at the "12th Samsung Electronics Hackathon" in Seoul in 2018, the 2nd place at the ACM ICPC All-Ukrainian Collegiate Programming Contest in 2019. In 2017, he joined the Samsung Research and Development Institute Ukraine and now he is a software engineer in the fields of computer vision and artificial intelligence. His research interests include handwriting recognition, intelligent user interfaces, and algorithm optimization.
