Mutian Niu is a researcher, also a designer, working in the intersections of Arts, Design, and Technology. She received the Ph.D. and Msc (Eng) degree in Industrial Design from the University of Liverpool. As a lecturer and research fellow at the Monash University, her major research interests are Material Perception, Virtual Reality, User Experience-Driven Design. She have published works in the field of Material Perception, Virtual Reality, Embodied Cognition, and Design Visualization.
