James Lin is a Director of Research Science at Reality Labs of Meta. He has over 20 years of experience on research and design for immersive devices and adaptive experience, and has a number of patents and published peer-reviewed articles on topics related to human perception and behavior, visual comfort and interventions, user experience modeling and metrics. He obtained his PhD in Human-Computer Interaction from University of Washington (2004).
