Brett Leavy is a visionary virtual heritage artist and a descendant of the Kooma people of southwest Queensland. With a deep passion for cultural history represented by digital twin technology that shows immersive and interactive landscapes, Brett carved his vocation in virtual heritage spearheading the creation of the Virtual Songlines Toolit, an ambitious multiverse-styled system that encapsulates First Nations history, connection to country within a multi-user virtual environment.

Brett works meticulously researching, partnering with local custodians and community leaders, and leveraging cutting-edge technology like Unreal Engine and the Meta Quest 3 VR/AR headset. His dedication to authenticity in historical reconstruction, along with the integration of cultural game mechanics, sets him apart in the field.
