Tatsuya Harada received his Ph.D. (2001) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tokyo. He is currently a professor at the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, University of Tokyo, a team leader at the RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project (AIP), and a visiting professor at the National Institute of Informatics (NII). His research interests include visual recognition, machine learning, and intelligent robots.
