Description'Texture swapping' is a novel perceptual illusion where shifts in skin texture, resembling materials like balloons, fur, or tree leaves, create a sense of owning various real-world textures. We utilized the illusion to the full-body VR avatars and create Transformed Skin experiences, strongly increasing the sense of body ownership.
