The Emerging Technologies program is a dynamic, hands-on exhibition at SIGGRAPH Asia 2026, showcasing functional prototypes and interactive breakthroughs that define the next generation of human-technology interaction.
Rooted in the conference theme, “Weaving the Future,” the program highlights the unmatched value of experiencing research firsthand. Attendees are invited to engage with interactive working demos spanning novel displays, haptics, brain-machine interfaces, robotics, human augmentation, spatial computing, and smart materials. By bridging theoretical research with sensory, physical applications, Emerging Technologies spotlights innovations engineered to enhance, empower, and transform everyday human life.
Accepted works, demonstrations, and extended abstracts will be archived and accessible worldwide through the ACM Digital Library.
