Art Papers Theme: Weaving the Future
In a rapidly changing world shaped by global shifts, environmental challenges, and evolving human–machine relationships, imagining viable paths forward has never been more vital. These transformative times open critical spaces for speculative ideas, creative experiments, and meaningful cultural dialogue.
The Art Papers program at SIGGRAPH Asia 2026 brings together international artists, researchers, and scholars to critically examine how art, culture, and technological innovation intersect to shape our collective future. Through a balance of practice-led investigations, experimental case studies, and rigorous critical theory, the program explores how emerging technologies and creative inquiry can translate visionary ideas into thoughtful, human-centered perspectives.
All presented research and papers are formally documented and published as part of the conference proceedings within the ACM Digital Library.
Join us in Kuala Lumpur as we explore the critical ideas, research, and creative practices shaping the future of digital art and technology.
Stay tuned as more details of the program will be revealed soon!
