SIGGRAPH Asia Returns to Tokyo in 2027

SIGGRAPH Asia is returning to Tokyo in 2027, bringing the region’s leading conference and exhibition on computer graphics and interactive techniques back to one of the world’s most dynamic centres of technology, creativity and innovation.
From advances in AI and computer graphics to animation, gaming, immersive technologies, digital art and emerging forms of interactive experiences, Tokyo provides an inspiring backdrop for exploring how technology and creativity are transforming the way we create, communicate and experience the digital world.
Meet the SIGGRAPH Asia 2027 Conference Chair
SIGGRAPH Asia 2027 will be led by Takahito Tejima, a seasoned computer graphics engineer with extensive experience spanning the games and film industries.
Currently Engineering Director at Polyphony Digital Inc., Tejima has built a career at the intersection of technology and creativity. His career has included roles at Namco, Polyphony Digital and Pixar Animation Studios, where he worked in Pixar’s R&D department.
As Conference Chair, Takahito Tejima will work with the SIGGRAPH Asia Advisory Group to shape an event that reflects the rapid evolution of computer graphics and interactive technologies, while embracing Tokyo’s distinctive position at the intersection of technology, creativity and culture.
Tokyo Awaits
Japan has played an important role in SIGGRAPH Asia’s history, with the event previously hosted in Yokohama in 2009, Kobe in 2015, and Tokyo in 2018, 2021 and 2024. In 2027, SIGGRAPH Asia returns once again to Tokyo, bringing together the brightest minds across research, industry and creative practice for four days of discovery, collaboration and inspiration.
