Michael Chrobak joined Wētā FX in 2017 to work on Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War. Since then he has worked in our FX department on a range of films, including as an FX Supervisor on Cocaine Bear and Alien: Romulus.

On Godzilla vs Kong, Mike worked on improving processes and extending the capabilities of Houdini to meet the demands of the project.

Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Mike has studied Multimedia Design & Production, Advanced Computer Animation and Visual Effects.

He won a Visual Effects Society Award award for outstanding Effects Simulations in a Photoreal Feature for his work on Avengers: Infinity Wars.
