Brenda Lopez Silva is the lead scientific programmer at NASA's Earth Information Center. In 2021, she served as a US Fulbright Scholar in Portugal, where she focused on Extended Reality research. From 2017 to 2022, Brenda was the director and founder of the Realization Lab at the Learning Sciences Research Institute, University of Illinois at Chicago, where she conducted research and development in educational technologies. Additionally, she led the immersive technologies program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Brenda has made extensive contributions to the field through publications and participation in international conferences.
