Yu Ding is currently the director of AI R&D center at Happy Elements, Beijing, China and he led the virtual human group at Netease Fuxi AI Lab, Hangzhou, China. His research interests include facial expression generation and recognition, animation generation, multimodal computing, affective computing, and embodied conversational agent. He received Ph.D. degree in Computer Science (2014) at Telecom Paristech in Paris (France). He have publihsed 60+ conference/journal papers, including PAMI, CVPR, ICCV, AAAI, IJCAI, etc. He has won multiple championships in the Affective Behavior Analysis in-the-wild competitions at ICCV 2021 and CVPR 2022-2023, consecutively.
