Alex Fry
Biography
Alex Fry is a Senior Colour & Imaging Engineer and Compositing Supervisor with more than 20 years of experience in visual effects.
As a Compositing Supervisor, Fry has worked on films such as The Lego Batman Movie, Captain Marvel and the Peter Rabbit movies. He most recently served as a Compositing Supervisor on Josh Cooley’s animated feature, Transformers One.
Fry was instrumental in implementing ACES 1.0 on The Lego Movie and has returned to the ACES project as the Co-Chair of the ACES 2.0 Output Transforms Committee, developing a new generation of Display Transforms, which were used for the first time on Transformers One.
Before joining the Colour and Imaging team at Industrial Light & Magic, Fry has worked at Animal Logic, Fin Design, Dr.D, Weta, and Rising Sun Pictures.
