Yue Liu received his Ph.D. in Telecommunication and Information System from Jilin University, China in 2000. He is currently a professor of Optical Engineering and Software at the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), China. His research interests include computer vision, human-computer interaction, virtual and augmented reality, and the evaluation of 3D display devices. Dr. Liu is a member of the board of directors of the Chinese Society for Image and Graphics (CSIG) and vice director of the Technical Committee of Virtual Reality and Visualization Technology of the China Computer Federation (CCF).
