Ticha Sethapakdi is a Ph.D. Candidate in the HCI Engineering Group at MIT CSAIL. She received her BFA in Art and MS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University. She is an MIT Presidential Fellow, Siebel Scholar, and Phi Beta Kappa member. Ticha's research focuses on building systems that enable expressive fabrication processes. Her research has been published in premier HCI venues, such as ACM CHI and the ACM UIST, and has been featured in various media outlets including MIT News, Engadget, and SYFY Wire.
