Credits “Star Wars” and “Back to the Future” with inspiring her career in VFX film production.
In 1989, I joined Shirogumi Inc. and oversaw miniature production. I transitioned into a compositor role for the film”The Last Dance” (1993) directed by Juzo Itami. I had contributed to the VFX on a range of films, TV series, commercials, and more. Highlighted works are “Juvenile” (2000), “Always: Sunset on Third Street” series,etc.
My latest work is "Godzilla Minus One" (2023) that won the best Visual Effects at the 96th Academy Awards, marking the first time an Asian film has received.
