Tsuyoshi Nomura, a graduate of Nagoya University, received his B.E. and M.E. in Mechanical Informatics and Systems in 1995 and 1997, respectively, and his Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Kyoto University in 2008. He joined Toyota Central R&D Labs., Inc. in 1997 and later served at the Toyota Research Institute of North America from 2011-2014 and 2017-2020. His research focused on numerical analysis of composite materials and topology optimization in various physics.
