NAOTO WAKATSUKI received the B.Eng., M.Eng., and D.Eng. degrees from the University of Tsukuba, in 1993, 1995, and 2004, respectively. He was with Okayama University, from 1995 to 2001, and Akita Prefectural University, from 2001 to 2006. He is currently a Professor with the University of Tsukuba. His research interests include acoustic instrumentation, simulation based visualization, vibration sensors and actuators, acoustical engineering, musical acoustics, and inverse problems. He was affiliated with academic societies, including the Acoustical Society of Japan, the Acoustical Society of America, the Society of Agricultural Structures, and the Japan Society for Simulation Technology.
