Ryu Nakagawa, is a media artist, an associate professor at Graduate School of Design and Architecture, Nagoya City University, and leads Art and Media Experience Lab also known as NakagawaLab. His research interests focus on creating new artistic experience with XR technologies. So far, the works of his projects using XR were accepted by conferences or competitions such as Laval Virtual 2018, SIGGRAPH 2019/2020/2022, SIGGRAPH Asia 2019/2023/2024, VR CREATIVE AWARD 2019, and exhibited there and at other venues.
