Biography
Keiichi Zempo, Ph.D. in Engineering and MBA, is currently with University of Tsukuba as an associate professor. He specializes in smart sensing technologies and human-computer interface, and has been conducting various applied research studies, including industrial and medical fields, using not only hardware measurement technology but also evaluating user satisfaction and perceived value in service industries and stereophonic sound and XR technology. Recently, he has focused on VR interaction technologies, sound AR in real environments, and physics-free human interactions, leveraging remote technology, using concepts like Umwelt manipulation and Harmonic interaction.
