Koji Tsukada was born in 1977. He is an Professor of Future University Hakodate. Prior to his current position, he worked as an assistant professor at Ochanomizu University, and had been a researcher at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). He received his Ph.D. from Keio University in 2005. His research interests include augmented commodities, material interaction, and prototyping tools. He received the Ig Nobel Prize 2012 (Acoustics).
