Scott Allen

Biography
Born in 1986, he graduated from Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences (IAMAS) in 2016. Focusing on the relationship between human imagination, visual devices, and technology, he creates installations and performances in a style in which he physically intervenes and modulates the mechanisms of projection devices and creates images by modifying everyday objects. He also creates artworks using deep learning and performs live as Ai.step, a live coding unit that collaborates with AI. Major awards include the CVPR2024 AI Art Gallery “the best works” and NeurIPS2023 ML4CD “Artwork spotlights”. Recent international festivals he has participated in include Scopitone 2019 (Île de Nantes, France) and MUTEK Montréal Édition 21 (ONLINE Platform, Canada).
