Tobias Klein (簡鳴謙) is an architect and artist whose work blends contemporary CAD/CAM technologies with site-specific design, historical references, and non-linear processes. He coined "Digital Craft" to describe the integration of digital and physical tools as poetic (Poïesis) and technical (Technê) expressions, opposing the traditional divide between digital and analogue methods. His works have been exhibited internationally, including at the V&A and Venice Biennale. Klein holds a PhD from RMIT and is an Associate Professor at City University of Hong Kong, supervising research in Digital Craft, Extended Realities, and Augmented Materials.
