Chiaochi Chou is an artist and P.h.D researcher specializing in installation art that merges living organisms with hybrid materials. Her work is driven by an ecological focus influenced by her family’s plant science background and her upbringing in a mountain village in Taiwan. Chou has led significant exhibitions such as “草木一見” at Taiwan’s National Museum of Natural Science. She is a visiting scholar at Columbia University’s Uriarte Lab and an Asian Culture Center resident artist in Korea. She is also an awardee of the Asian Cultural Council Foundation.
