Weiming Dong is currently a professor with the National Key Laboratory of Multimodal Artificial Intelligence Systems (MAIS), Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received the B.E. and M.E. degrees from Tsinghua University, China, in 2001 and 2004, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Henri Poincare, Nancy 1, France, in 2007. His research interests include computational art, image synthesis and image recognition.
