Philip Engström has been with Important Looking Pirates since 2016. With a background as a generalist and a strong passion for lighting, Philip has contributed to a range of notable projects, including Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Westworld, The Suicide Squad, and the VES award-winning show Lost in Space.
After a stint at Framestore in London, he returned to ILP as a Lighting Supervisor before moving into his current role as a VFX Supervisor.
Philip is currently finishing his work on the upcoming HBO series Dune: Prophecy, having previously worked on Shogun, which recently received an Academy Award for Outstanding Special Visual Effects.
