Wan-Hsiu Tsai

Biography
Dr. Tsai research explores the sociopolitical influence of persuasive communication. She received her Ph.D. in advertising from the University of Texas at Austin. Her research has addressed issues related to minority consumers in the marketplace and in advertising presentations, emerging technologies in communication such as chatbots and augmented reality. Her recent projects explore responsible artificial intelligence (AI) and AI literacy. Her work has appeared in the Journal of Advertising, International Journal of Advertising, Journal of Interactive Advertising, Consumption Markets and Culture, Journal of Public Relations Research, PR Review, and New Media & Society among others.
