Tommaso Sorgente
Biography
Tommaso Sorgente is a fixed-term researcher at IMATI-CNR.
He received a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Turin (2018) and a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Applications from the University of Genova (2022), supervised by Professors S. Biasotti, M. Spagnuolo, and G. Manzini.
His research focuses on mesh analysis, processing, and generation, with applications to computer graphics and numerical simulations.
He authored several reviewed papers, among which the recent tutorial "Survey of Indicators for Mesh Quality Assessment" presented at EUROGRAPHICS 2023 and participated in the ERC Advanced Grant "CHANGE".
