Acclaimed by the Washington Post as “deft, relentless, and devastatingly good,” Dr. Schumann, Director of Keyboard Studies and Assistant Professor of Music at Stanford University, integrates classical piano training with scientific insights. A laureate of the Gilmore Young Artist Award and winner of multiple international piano competitions, she has performed at prestigious venues like the Kennedy Center and Vienna’s Bösendorfer Saal. Dr. Schumann also directs the Schumann Music Studio in San Francisco, fostering innovative intersections of music, art, and technology.
