John Power is an award-winning artist, director and producer working in a range of visualisation projects from VFX, ambient screen media, and large public media installations. He combines painting, drawing, photography, traditional CGI and generative processes in time-based art. Power has toured and exhibited nationally and internationally. Power's research focuses on application and staging of generative media on large public screens as a means towards Calm Technology. Power is a senior lecture in Digital Media and at Master of Animation, Games and Interactivity (MAGI), RMIT University, Melbourne.
