Silvia Biasotti
Biography
Silvia Biasotti is a Research Director at IMATI-CNR Genova, Italy.
Her scientific activity in Computer Graphics is related to the representation, analysis, recognition and comparison of 3D data.
She is the author of more than 120 peer-reviewed scientific publications, one book on mathematical methods for shape analysis, and an associate editor of several international journals in Computer Graphics. She taught an ACM-SIGGRAPH course in 2012, two tutorials at EUROGRAPHICS in 2007 and 2014, and authored two EG STARs in 2014 and 2023.
Since 2024 she has been a Fellow of EUROGRAPHICS.
