Thaddeus Varness is a stop-motion animator from Minnesota, he attended college in Georgia and has worked in Oregon. He first got into animation by animating on sticky note pads with a pencil. Throughout childhood, he used stop-motion to animate things around the house and pursued animation into college. There he animated on a number of collaborative high-quality stop-motion projects. Le Charade was his senior film and an opportunity to delve into the history of exaggerated animation. After college he has worked as an animation intern at Laika and has continued to build his career since.
