Atsushi Tadokoro

Biography
Live coder / Creative coder / Associate professor at Maebashi Institute of Technology / Part-time lecturer at Tokyo University of the Arts / Part-time lecturer at Keio University. born in 1972. He creates musical works by synthesizing sounds using algorithms and improvising with sounds and images by live coding. In recent years, he has presented interactive installations using large video images and audiovisual works using immersive dome screens. He lectures at universities on creative coding and live coding using TouchDesigner, openFrameworks, p5.js, Sonic Pi, TidalCycles, and others. His lecture materials are available on the website https://yoppa.org/ and used by many students and creators. His publications include “Beyond Interaction: A Practical Guide to openFrameworks for Creative Coding” and “Programming to Perform, The Philosophy and Practice of Live Coding-Show Us Your Screens”.
