Dr Oliver A Kannape is the director of the Virtual Medicine Center at the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) and Scientific Coordinator at MindMaze SA. He is a Cognitive Scientist who bridges the gap between Industry and Academia to translate fundamental, XR-enhanced research, to the clinical environment. With more than 15 years of international experience in research, including EPFL and the MIT Media Lab, education, and industry, Dr Kannape leads collaborative efforts between scientist, engineers, and physicians to develop and validate novel interventions to improve patient care, clinical research, and medical training at the hospital.
