Kanyu Chen is a PhD student at the Keio University and a visiting PhD student at the Institute of Science Tokyo in Japan. She received her master's degree in Media Design from Keio University in 2022, and B.E. degree in Digital Media Technology from Fujian Normal University in 2020. Her research focuses on applying physiological sensing technology to vocal training and music cognition, evaluating the activity of vocal muscles using EMG, ultrasonography and audio waveform. She is passionately interested in the digital transformation of musical skill and interface design for musical expression to help singers in amateur.
