Originally from Westlake Ohio, Allison Orr began her career in the gaming industry as Lead Animator, creating dynamic cut scenes for iconic game series such as The Last of Us and Uncharted. Over her 10 years in the industry Allison honed in on her interest in facial animation and emerging facial solving technology before making the move into Visual Effects at MPC in Montreal.

Inspired by Thanos in Avengers: Endgame, Allison joined Wētā FX in 2020 to work as Senior Facial Motion Animator on James Cameron's Avatar: The Way of Water, before becoming Lead Facial Motion Animator on Marvels 2022 series, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Most recently, Allison wrapped as the Show Lead for the Facial Motion department on Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.

As Lead Facial Motion Animator, Allison assists the shows Facial Motion Supervisor with reviews, setting up the facial solver and show workflows, and is the point of contact for the Motion Supervisor and Animation team.
