Travel to Tokyo

Tokyo (東京, Tōkyō) is Japan’s capital and the world’s most populous metropolis. It is one of Japan’s 47 prefectures, made up of 23 central city wards along with numerous cities, towns, and villages to the west. The Izu and Ogasawara Islands are also part of Tokyo.

Today, Tokyo boasts an almost limitless array of shopping, entertainment, cultural, and dining experiences. Visitors can explore the city’s rich history in districts like Asakusa, as well as in its numerous museums, historic temples, and gardens. Contrary to popular belief, Tokyo offers a wealth of green spaces in the city center and within short train rides to the outskirts.
