Submission Deadline: 31 July 2026, 23:59 AoE (Closed)
The SIGGRAPH Asia Posters program provides an interactive forum for innovative ideas that are not yet fully polished, for high-impact practical contributions, for behind-the-scenes views of new commercial and artistic work, and for solutions that help solve challenging problems. Contributors are expected to produce a stand-alone graphic display (a poster) that demonstrates incremental, preliminary, partial, or innovative insights that are important but not fully developed. We encourage submissions from technical artists, developers, educators, students, and researchers from academia and industry. Typical examples include:
  • Geometry and Modelling
  • Animation, Performance Capture, and Motion Synthesis
  • Lighting, Rendering and Material Representations
  • Computer Vision and Image Understanding
  • Machine Learning Techniques for Computer Graphics
  • Image and Video Processing Applications
  • Human-Computer Interaction
  • Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Mixed Reality
  • Computer-Aided Design
  • Information Visualization and Scientific Visualization
  • Multimedia Applications
  • Video Gaming
  • Web Graphics and Mobile Graphics
  • 3D Audio
  • Creativity and Digital Art
This year, under the theme of Weaving the Future , we also particularly invite submissions related to:
  • Human-AI Interaction
  • Art–Science–Technology Collaboration
  • Weaving Human and Machine Creativity
Please scroll down for more details on how to submit.

Please review and carefully follow the submission requirements below. Incomplete or wrongly completed submissions will not be considered.
We strongly encourage starting the submission form well before the deadline. Please make sure to check the size limit on the submissions (main files, additional materials, etc.) described in the submission form before you prepare your submissions. Submit your work before the submission deadline 31 July 2026, 23:59 AoE. All forms must be completed, and all materials must be successfully uploaded by that time. The submission deadline will be strictly enforced. Please do not wait until the last minute to upload your files. For more information about uploading files for your submission, please see Uploading Files.
Sorting Topic
The Posters Chair will use the Sorting Topic to assign your submission to reviewers who are best able to assess your work. Please be as accurate as possible when specifying it.
Dual submissions
The SIGGRAPH Asia 2026 Posters is dedicated to presenting new, unpublished work. Work that is under review elsewhere (for example, to a journal or another conference) cannot be submitted to the Posters program. Such dual submissions are widely considered unethical.
Submissions with new, incremental results based on previous publications are a common occurrence. As usual, one would need to reference the original paper(s) and clearly explain what in the submission is new. To be accepted, the jury expects about 50% new material that goes beyond the previous publication.
Submission
Your submission must include the following materials and information.
  • A 1-2 pages abstract document describing your work in PDF format is required. Submissions that are more than 2 pages long or that are improperly formatted will not be considered.
  • The submitted PDF must be self-contained, formatted according to the poster template described in the FAQs. Detailed instructions are listed within the FAQs
  • All submission materials should be anonymous. You will be assigned a Submission ID number when you create an Online Submission Form and this number will be used to identify your submission throughout the review process. In all other ways, the document must be in the final format. For instance, it should not include the names of authors on the work and their institutions, since the reviewing process is double-blind. Submissions that are more than 1-2 pages (including the references) or that are improperly formatted will not be considered.
  • One representative image (JPG) suitable for usage in promotional materials: All submissions should include a representative digital image that should be of the highest print quality possible, pixel resolution of at least 1500 x 1000 (at least 300 dpi at 5 inches wide, with depth proportional) or the highest possible screen grab. Images must be submitted in JPG format.
  • Web Image: In JPG or PNG format max. 200 KB for website publication.
  • Up to three supplementary materials (OPTIONAL):
    • Images: high-resolution images in one of these formats: TIFF, JPEG. PNG, BMP, or GIF.
    • Video: In QuickTime, MPEG-4, or DivX Version 5 (or later) formats. The total length of all videos should not exceed five minutes.
    • Documentation: includes images, graphs, charts, and so forth. Supporting documentation should be in PDF format, should contain mostly captioned figures or tables. Poster abstracts, and in general any content that has an abstract as its primary documentation, can be up to two pages in length (1-2 Pages).
Formatting and Templates
  1. Abstract
The document you submit for review should be a single column PDF, which can be prepared in Microsoft Word or LaTeX – we recommend the use of LaTeX, and the “manuscript” parameter to the \documentclass will prepare the PDF as a one-column document:
\documentclass[manuscript]{acmart}
If you are using Microsoft Word to prepare your submission, print the document to a PDF file.
This “submitted for review” PDF version may be more than two pages in length.
Should your submission be accepted for presentation, you’ll receive further instructions on how to prepare the up to three-page, abstract, double-column for publication. ACM has a system, TAPS, which accepts either Word or LaTeX documents and produces the two-column PDF output, as well as accessible HTML5, for publication in the ACM Digital Library.
Abstracts should include authors’ names and affiliations, as the review process is “single blind.”
  1. Poster
Your poster can be designed in any way that you wish, so long as it conforms to the physical size requirements. These will be communicated closer to the conference.
During a large poster session, there is not enough time for attendees to read all of the information described in all posters. One strategy is for posters to provide a key insight for attendees with little time to devote to a single poster, with more detail provided to the side. As guidance, we will provide a template that represents this idea, in both vertical layouts and in Adobe Illustrator and PDF file formats. Upon acceptance, the template will be provided.
English Review Service
If English is not your first language; you may use the English Review Service to help with the text of submissions. Please note that this takes time, so your submission should be sent to the English Review Service well before the final deadline.
Educator’s Resources Submission option
Those submitting content to a SIGGRAPH conference have the option of donating materials of educational value to ACM SIGGRAPH online resources for the benefit of the education community. Learn More.
For more information about uploading files for your submission, please see Uploading Files. For additional submission information, please see the Submission FAQs.

Edit Content
All Posters submissions will be reviewed by a jury of academic and industry professionals in related research fields. The Posters Committee is responsible for conducting the jury process in order to set up a high-quality program, with attractive posters sessions.

All contributors to SIGGRAPH Asia Annual Conferences are now required to use ACM’s rights management system to grant rights to publish accepted content rather than through the online submission system. Essentially, submission tracking, jury review, and acceptance remain the same, but now the rights management is through ACM, the parent organization of SIGGRAPH Asia.
You will be asked to complete an ACM rights management form, which includes permission to record and distribute the audio and video of your recorded presentation through official channels of ACM/SIGGRAPH Asia. For most content types, this will be a Permission and Release form, which allows authors to retain copyright.
As a contributor to an ACM-sponsored event, the following expectations apply to you, should your content be accepted for presentation:
  • You have the permission to use everything that is in your presentation. This includes securing permission to use third-party material, and providing documentation of that permission to ACM. (More Information On The Proper Use Of Third-Party Material In Your Presentation)
  • If you are using copyrighted musical compositions in your presentation, you must secure performing rights licenses.
  • You must have the authority to grant ACM the right to distribute your presentation.
Once your contribution is accepted, you will receive an email leading you to the appropriate form for your subsequent contribution(s).
You are expected to attend all planned Posters Presentations which are expected to be held from 13:00h – 14:00h* on the following days:
  • Wednesday, 2 December 2026 (Wednesday)
  • Thursday, 3 December 2026 (Thursday)
  • Friday, 4 December 2026 (Friday)
*Subject to changes by the organizer, updated information will be sent to the corresponding author/ contact person by November 2026.

Acceptance
If your work is accepted as a poster, you will be required to prepare the final high-resolution poster file following the specifications in the acceptance notification.
Please note: The schedule to provide your final material after receiving the acceptance notification is very tight. We reserve the right to reject late submission of the high-resolution poster files. Please plan your personal schedule accordingly.
For guidance, we have provided the vertical template in the Adobe Illustrator format. You are welcome to use these materials for general formatting suggestions. However, your abstract must also conform to these updated formatting guidelines.
  • The organizers will be responsible for printing and hanging at the allocated posters area.
  • You must be available to present your poster during the Poster Presentation sessions.
  • We encourage you to bring a portable computer or other small portable artifacts to demo your work. Outlets for power may not be available, so ensure your computer is well charged.
  • Posters are displayed in unsecured areas; do not leave your computers or valuable equipment unattended during the pre-scheduled poster presentation periods or other equipment unattended with the poster.
For instructions about preparation and delivery of your final content for publications, see the poster format examples. Please carefully follow the instructions in the acceptance letter.
You will be able to update your basic submission information and any final materials so that it can be included in the conference program and website. This information needs to be finalized within two weeks after receipt of acceptance notifications. Please be prepared to deliver your final versions of your information and work on or before these dates.
Presenter and Contributor Recognition
Presenters/Contributors of each accepted submission must register for at least one conference pass that grants access to the Posters venue. Please visit our registration page to view the various registration categories for each program.
Please see the Recognition Benefits for a summary of what you will receive if your work and/or proposal are accepted by SIGGRAPH Asia.
Presenters are entitled to a 25% discount on any ticket that grants access to the Posters venue. One presenter per accepted poster.
Publications
All work selected for the SIGGRAPH Asia Posters will be documented in the SIGGRAPH Asia 2025 website and ACM Digital Library. Accepted Poster authors will need to prepare Two-Page Abstract of their work for the ACM Digital Library as well as the physical poster to be displayed at the conference. This abstract should be a self-contained document, formatted according to the SIGGRAPH Template For Posters. Auxiliary material along with the abstract will also be accepted.

Poster Submission

Q1. How do I decide whether to submit my work as a paper, technical communication, or poster?

The Technical Papers program, which includes both Conference and Journal tracks, is the most competitive of these three. Technical Papers give you a chance to work out your ideas at greater length and describe them in a citable archive. Both Technical Communications and Posters programs, on the other hand, provide dynamic forums for new and thought-provoking ideas, which might be not suitable for Technical Papers or not yet fully-polished, novel applications that address interdisciplinarity, high-impact practical contributions, valuable know-how from production work, e.g., behind-the-scenes view of new commercial or artistic work, and other small projects, which are incomplete or not of sufficient extent to warrant a technical paper. The difference between Technical Communications and Posters is their presentation forms. Technical Communications papers are up to 4 pages in length and will be presented in a talk, while Posters are up to 2 pages and will be presented in the form of posters without talk.

Q2. Should I submit a digital version of the actual poster for jury review?

No, this is not necessary. Poster submissions are evaluated based on their abstracts, supporting material, and research value. If you would like to provide a digital version of your poster, you may do so as a supplementary image.

Q3. Can I include a supplementary video with my poster submission?

Yes! If your submission has an interactive, animation, or simulation component, we strongly encourage you to submit a video demonstrating your work in action, as it may be very difficult to evaluate your work without this. Videos can be included as part of the poster presentation session.

Q4. The SIGGRAPH Asia English Review Service failed our schedule, so it is SIGGRAPH Asia’s fault that our proposal is late. Can I have an extension?

No. The English Review Service makes no guarantee for service turn-around. It is also administered separately from the conference program. Please schedule your work appropriately. For the best chance of having your submission reviewed by the English Review Service, please make sure it is submitted and marked “complete” in the submission system at least 14 days before your program’s submission deadline.

Q5. What does a 2-page abstract submission look like? What does a print-ready poster look like?

Here are two examples of good posters and abstracts:

Poster Template

Abstract
Vertical Poster Template

Poster Formatting Templates

Poster authors should prepare their documents using the LaTex template with the following command: \documentclass[acmtog,anonymous,review]{acmart}. The latest template files are available here. Remember: the jury will review the abstract, but the poster is what you will display at the conference.

Q6. Should I make my submission anonymous?

Yes. The review process will be double-blind and please make sure that all your submitted materials have been anonymized.

Poster Presentation

Q1. When will there be a posters’ presentation?*

Presentation timings will be from 13:00 – 14:00 on the following days:

  • Wednesday, 2 December 2026 (Wednesday)
  • Thursday, 3 December 2026 (Thursday)
  • Friday, 4 December 2026 (Friday)

Q2. Two of my poster submissions were accepted. Which one should I present?

If possible, both posters should have a presenter. If your submissions have co-authors and they are attending the conference, please ask them to help present. If you are the only author attending the conference, you can present a different poster at each session. You may wish to leave a note on each poster indicating the session at which you will present it.
