Real-time streaming of high fidelity content across continents within immersive environments on NRP's 100Gbps Science DMZ

DescriptionThrough UC San Diego's Immersive Visualization Center in partnership with the National Research Platform we are able to conduct collaborative immersive research across continents through an 100G internet backbone. In this demo we demonstrate the ability to stream 3D assets, gigapixel stereo panoramas, and low latency multi-user interaction inside the CyberArchWarehouse, a 3d immersive environment for studying digital archaeology and cultural heritage running inside Unreal Engine 5.
