Yet, solutions to define spectral reflectances a re mostly limited to techniques which deterministically uplift existing RG B inputs. Only recently has uplifting enabled constraining a surface appea rance under direct illuminants. Yet, prior work in this area limits artist expressiveness and is poorly suited for designing a scene's appearance, a s indirect illumination is ignored entirely.\n\nWe present an uplifting te chnique with fine-grained spectral appearance control under direct and ind irect illumination, even enabling the placement of spectral constraints in a specific scene. Our approach allows for a flexible authoring process, a nd solves for the resulting spectra efficiently. Additionally, we show tha t our method's memory overhead during rendering is kept small, by introduc ing a compact spectral texture format.\n\nRegistration Category: Full Acce ss, Full Access Supporter\n\nLanguage Format: English Language\n\nSession Chair: Valentin Deschaintre (Adobe Research) URL:https://asia.siggraph.org/2024/program/?id=papers_1223&sess=sess149 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
