 g it more efficient and of higher quality. However, in Japanese anime prod
 uction, these technologies are not always directly applicable. Bridging th
 is gap requires an understanding of the unique challenges in Japanese anim
 e workflows and, at times, customizing tools to meet specific needs. This 
 session will explore the contrasts between Western workflows, where many o
 f these technologies originated, and the needs of Japanese anime studios, 
 with the goal of bridging these two worlds.\n\nThe session will provide ca
 se studies and practical insights, including:\n\nOpenUSD: Differences in 3
 D workflows between Western studios and Japanese anime studios, with a foc
 us on the need to convert USD files for cross-software editing.\nReal-time
