SUMMARY:Utilizing Generative AI for Look Dev in CG Anime Production [In Ja
 panese]

\n\nCan 3DCG animation match and even surpass the unique appeal of hand-dr
awn anime?\n\nIn Japan, hand-drawn anime has evolved in its own unique way
and is deeply rooted in the culture. 3DCG animation has always faced this
as a major obstacle. As a solution, we are researching ways to control "u
ncontrollable" generative AI and use it to create staged anime images. At
the same time, our goal is to create new visual expressions that go beyond
the limits of hand-drawn animation. We aim to further advance creativity
by having human artists direct AI. In this talk, though we are still in pr
ogress, we will introduce our new approach and workflow. This workflow is
only possible in 3DCG production where we are able to eliminate the rende
ring process and generate the final images from the 3DCG preview images.\n
