SUMMARY:Design and Conversion of Ink Brushstrokes in Three-dimensional Spa
 ce
DESCRIPTION:Art Papers\n\nZhihao Yao, Beituo Liu, and Haipeng Mi (Tsinghua
University)\n\nInk painting, a revered traditional Eastern art form, has
gained prominence in 3D design due to demand from the gaming and animation
industries. However, translating the subtle effects of 2D brush strokes i
nto 3D remains challenging. Current research largely focuses on rendering
techniques for simulating ink effects, with less attention to design metho
ds for 3D ink paintings. In our paper, we showcase three 3D ink works that
focus on the core element of ink painting—the "brush stroke"—and its tran
slation into 3D space. replicate these features in 3D.\n\nRegistration Cat
