DESCRIPTION:Taien Ng-Chan (York University), Carmela Laganse (McMaster Uni
 versity), and Haoran Chang (York University)\n\nDigital assets on major pl
 atforms often lack diversity, underrepresenting marginalized BIPOC \ncommu
 nities. This BoF panel will spotlight the Sari-Sari Xchange Assetory, a vi
 rtual asset \nlibrary created with and for the Asian diaspora community. W
 e will explore the challenges and \nopportunities in building a sustainabl
 e, diverse, and accessible asset library for media art \ncreation, includi
 ng XR, games, and animation. Beyond being an online asset repository, the 
 asset \nlibrary serves as a form of storytelling to represent different cu
